Ministry Projects
Welcome to our mission team's initiative in collaboration with the Local Church of Christ congregation (Garden City COC). We are dedicated to curating, facilitating, and sustaining faith-centered community programming in the Cayo district of Belmopan, Belize. Our efforts focus on four core ministries: VBS, Gendered Studies, Orphanage Outreach, and Pregnancy Center Outreach. Together, we strive to plant seeds of hope and growth, ensuring God's Kingdom continues to flourish in Belize.

Vacation bible School
2025's "Faith is the Victory" Themed bible study, took place July 13 - 16th at both the Garden City Church of Christ and The Kingdom Children's home. Our best advertisement? Word of mouth from the participating scholars! Garden City planted the seed, Tennessee Missions watered by providing 16 eager teachers, and we all were able to witness God's daily increase with an outstanding overall attendance of 143 Children! If this wasn't blessing enough - with the guidance & instruction of Teen Teachers Bro. Jordan Moore and Edrick Hammond (Rural Hill COC), a new soul was added to the body of Christ through baptism on VBS's final day!
Gendered-Studies
Come along on the journey of faith as we transition from childhood to adulthood. Our emphasis on revival and Bible study takes place every evening during our mission. As dusk falls, adults unite to engage with fellow seekers and into biblical lessons designed around the distinct elements of manhood and womanhood. This year's powerful theme "Building Your Faith, Sustaining Your Faith, and defending the Faith," was brought to life by six passionate teachers from Tennessee, sharing their insights with over 83 participants!

Orphanage Outreach
2025 became the first year both the Missions Team or any Local Organization were able to work with the children and staff of Belmopan's Orphanage. We did not take that responsibility lightly. Under the faith direction of Kingdom Children's Home director ( Paul Cassanova), Mission's volunteers were able to do more than teach the children about Christ, but we were able to fellowship and serve like good friend Christ is to us all. The VBS teachers served 28 students while ministering to additional staff. The Team also was able to set up shop to repair the wifi and networking system while also donating 4 new laptops to the Computer lab. The work didn't end there! Team carpenters, Bro.Conner and Bro.Parker we able to replenish and refurnish dysfunctional furniture. And with the help of Tennessee non-profit, Soles for Souls, we were able to distribute brand new pairs of shoes for each child!

Pregnancy Center Outreach
The Pregnancy Center not only offers childbirth education classes, but also walks alongside young mothers in the community by meeting their most practical needs. From food, formula, and diapers to clothing for their little ones, the Center serves as a lifeline of support and encouragement. During our Mission efforts, volunteers were able to lift a major burden from the staff by helping prepare for the center's weekly distribution - packing staple foods like rice and beans, and carefully sorting and bundling diapers for the families in need. Together, this partnership allowed the Center to extend Christ's love in both word and deed, bringing hope and relief to countless young families.
Evangelism
The Market & Dan Grigio Evangelism team brought the light of the gospel directly to the heart of the community, enagaging both vendors and customers with the message of Christ. Over 150 pamphlets were distrubuted, while each evangelism pair personally shared the Good news with an average of 10 citizens. In addition to one-on-one conversations, the team extended warm invitations to worship and fellowship with the Garden City and Dan Grigo Church of Christs. The response was overwhelmingly positive, even resulting in a BAPTISM! Hearts were open, conversations were genuine, and both merchants and shoppers alike showed receptivity to the call of Christ.
